Would Specific Information About My Surgery Be In My Medical Records?
I had a “simple procedure” that was supposed to take an hour and was supposed to send me home the same day. Instead it took six hours and I had to stay overnight. I kept hearing how tough I am and how much of a fighter I am after the surgery but the doctors wouldn’t tell me what happened during surgery except that “it was difficult.”
If I request medical records from the hospital will there be a transcript or something from the surgery that would tell me whether or not I flatlined in there or if something went wrong?
